why not have research section that includes motor formulas,speed and slip calculators, engine dyno programs, horsepower loss on specific drives and ratios, trannies . ECU info. any other ideas??
just a thought since I have been to many many sites collecting and bookmarking. It would be nice to have a fact based data base section to input data about you motor or drive as well as a reference.

A while back, I proposed a section dedicated to hulls, engines and prop combinations and who's tried what props to achieve the best performance out of their boat. I guess you could call it trial and error with props. I thought this would take the guess work out prop testing for some. I like your idea too. Evidentally they didn't like my idea, good luck...

we added a prop section just for this purpose. In fact we have two advertisers that answer technical questions in that section.

I think what He/She is thinking is expanding on that idea to include more then just prop info

Im nit sure how it could be done but in theory sounds great
