where can i get extra long transmision locating dowels for a bbc?

i looking for some longer than stock dowels so i can run a spacer between my belhousing and engine cuz my crash boxes are a little shorter the my 72c's. thx for any info, rm

How much longer? Maybe check Lakewood I know they have offset and adjustable ones. Or you could make your own.

Mcmaster carr has them http://www.mcmaster.com/

I believe that they are 5/8" diameter.
