Unfortunately, it's more show than go! It won't remove any Manatee Zones and $TM is still behind the scenes making sure their jobs aren't DOWNGRADED too! It is a step in the right direction, BUT if you really want to help out, join CFFW, (Capt Tom Mcgill who was mentioned in the article is a founding member of CFFW) www.cffw.org

Besides, this does NOTHING for the Manatee Zones that are FEDERAL, (USFWS) mandated!
This is just a smoke screen!

This has been a long time coming....There simply doesn't exist the evidence to support their endangered status anymore.

Good move, but it's not enough.

At least it is a step in the right direction. People are finally getting fed up with all the regulations and "THE CLUB". This is the first clear victory for our side!!! Is it enough H_ _ _ NO, but it is a beginning. Dean is right, your best way to insure that the momentom continues --- join CFFW and support our fellow boaters. A perfect example if "THE CLUB's" power, we ran five (5) boats from Cape Canaveral to Sebastian with the plan to have lunch @ Capt. Hyrams Restaurant. We got there only to find that there were no transit docks since they were destroyed in 2004 hurricanes. THE CLUB has fought against the restaurant rebuilding their docks and judging from what I saw they are winning. Just remember we may have won a small battle but the war is still on and THE CLUB is strong enemy with a large war $$$$$ chest. Again, Join and SUPPORT CFFW.

Could not agree more. There is NO way we can match the war chest the $MC has stashed, the only way we can fight them is with numbers, i.e., memberships in CFFW.
