Hey guys and gals,
I finally took the initiative to upgrade my membership and I'm really glad I did. Just thought I would take a second to introduce myself and say hello.
I've been here in SE Michigan for a little over a year now (originally from the Minneapolis / St. Paul area) and have gotten a great taste of what REAL boats are. I love it here! I currently work at Katech and am in charge of cylinder head development there (BTW, glad to hear that Pat has found a new job and from what I hear, is doing well... best of luck to him). I've also been fortunate in having the opportunity to actually take care of a couple of OSO members recently. I just finished a set of heads for a local customer of Bob Madera at Marine Kinetics and I also touched up a set for "Whiteknuckle" last summer.
This site has been a plethora of information for me over the last two years and I really feel like it's a privilege to be an active and paying member of it. If there is anything I can do to help out a fellow OSO member, please... don't hesitate to ask. Now, as long as we keep heading in a profitable direction at work, maybe I can start doing some boat shopping in a year, or two, or...
Here's to a positive future!
Thanks everyone,
Jason
