i was at tres today and hoped to check out daddy cool but shes gone
someone stepped up and bought it! i hope they paint it back to its racing paint scheme. anyone know who the now owns that bad boy? thx, rm

He told me that the boat will still be kept on the East coast and maintained by one of the top shops around.
HORBA has provided him with color photos and B&W photos of the boat in it's prime. I believe that he is going to put it back to it's original livery.
We researched the boat for him and found out it was built in October of 1974 and it was the 7th 35 footer made. That means it was built right after the 35 that was made for Don Aronow # 6, which became first Spirit and then Benihana.
He has a real piece of history. We are very happy that one oof our HORBA members will see that it is taken care of. Hope to have photos of the restoration on our site:
