Not going to buy anything soon, but I am wondering when Ford is releasing the new body style/model F250/350.

My dealer is strongly leaning toward a late '07 or early '08 model year release. Spoke to him about it just today. He pulled the literature out that Ford had just sent him indicating that.

Yet rumors indicate standard '07 release????

They have delayed until January 2007 to debut as an 2008 MY product. Here is a recent article.

I had a meeting with the service manager about buying back my 04. He said still some 06 lemons. Not as many. The diesel mechanics who had just returned from update training said that they have not worked out all the bugs and do not want a 6.0 repeat. They say they are not going to sell it until it's right. Reading between the lines, I think an 07 might be a little gamble.

I just ordered an 07, I have had good luck w/6.0's. I didnt want to wait or possibly be a guinnee pig for an 08 model which was to be hitting showrooms by early March in 07 as a 08 model. This is what was told to me. I trade every year so no big deal. Jeff

i have heard the cummins may be in the 08 models.

Ford now has the right to Cummins. I have also heard some on the lines of a twin turbo diesel in the near future.
