Looking for a few more MPH. I put a spacer on and seems to have helped raise the boat out of the water. It still feels like it is "Stuck" to the water, like the bottom was covered in algae. Would sanding the bottom help, rougher or smoother???

Have Rick blueprint the bottom, the Superbabi hull runs at the right attitude without a lot of trim.OZ how do you fell about your blueprinting ????/

My consensus is don't spend the money. I would check the bottom with a straight edge to make sure you don't have a hook(which I doubt you do)before you do anything. There have been previous posts of Y2k blueprinting w/o any results. Make sure your trailer bunks extend to/past the transom. I'd try the speedcote product 1'st. Rick blueprinted our(Suberbabi's and mine) during the build process(certainly cheaper than working upside down) and a wee bit of rocker was added which I believe only made a subtle change in the ride attitude and I feel personaly no real gain in speed. I do find cupped prop does loosen the boat up...

As you probably read in other threads, I don''t know if a sanding job will give you any more MPH. As Oh Zone said, check with a straight edge first.
Superbabi and Oh Zone have the ""Special FX Edition"" blueprinting job. The steps were cantered up towards the stern, giving more bow lift. Extra glass was put into the layup prior to the full layup to makeup for the material that was removed for the blueprinting.

I saw an Outer Limits that had been sanded from stern to mid-ship. The front was nice and shiney and smooth, but the stern looked flat but felt smoother than the front. Just wondering if this helped.
