Kubota RTV900

Anybody have one of these utility vehicles? Or a diesel kawasaki mule? Our lake house sits atop a hill that you must go down and then through a trail in the woods to get to the dock. Several people have golf carts, but they struggle when hauling people and gas tanks. I am looking for utility vehicle that wont suck so much.

My buddy has a brand new kubota RTV. It is very nice.... but it is more like a tractor..... whereas the rhino is more like a 4 wheeler. Just depends on what you'll use it for. I would think that the kubota would last much longer and be more suitable for farm work, but you probably wouldn't have much fun on a trail with it.

thanks cav. I have to haul people and cargo from the cabin to the dock daily, and launch a seadoo every weekend. It is too far to walk, steep hills, and the road turns into pee gravel trail that winds through the woods. I really cannot foresee any "play" time, only a little cruise now and then. Just seems like a diesel and hydrostat drive will hit the spot.

beautiful...that is the response i am looking for. we have a serious hill to climb just in our drive way. I need some real grunt. And the kubota has a hydrostat trans. None of that ***** CVT that slips when it is really used hard.

I import mini trucks, In my opinion miles ahead of a rhino kubota etc. They can tow more carry, have high/low ratio 4WD and have a full cab, They are 10ft long and 5'2 wide we sell lots of them to farmers and hunters, easy to fit a hitch too, and ATV wheels bolt straight on, an excellent all round truck, if you need any more info just let me know.

waterboy, looks interesting. if i read correctly it tows just as much as the kubota and is rated to haul 500lbs less total weight than the RTV. Nitpicking those numbers is less of a worry to me as my real concern is off road ability. I will need low range, ground clearance, and locking diffs to access the dock trail in some circumstances. Still a neat little truck
