The US Open has begun and our town is in a tizzy

We decided to steal a friends Sea Tow boat to get a closer look

No kidding.....instead of waking up to the sound of seagulls, he wakes up to the sound of those cranes starting up...

That is Mamaroneck Harbor....

The boat is docked at the Derecktor's Shipyard.... The place may look run down, but it's on the historic registry.... Many impressive boats have been built here.....I highly doubt that the cranes will be working this week, I bet all the big work is going to the CT yard.

Now ya had me thinking about all the boats I have seen built at Derecktor's... I wish I had pictures of all the boats and fast ferry's.
