I am looking to purchase a 3" Body lift for my Dad's Jeep Liberty. Can someone recommend one?

If Performance Accessories makes one that would be the brand I would go with. Used them for almost ten years at my shop. Won't use any other brand ever again.

the jeep liberty is unibody construction....there isnt a frame to lift the body off of. Your only option is to lift the suspension.

He bought it to tow behind his motorhome, but we did take it last week four wheeling at Four Peaks AZ and I have to admit it did a great job! Bottomed it out a few times so I thought I'd buy him a lift kit for father's day. If it was mine I'd have bought the Wrangler!

I think they make some cheapo lift kits that simply add coil spring spacers and longer shocks for the Liberty's. Probably only 1" or 2" lift though.

I found some 3" suspension lifts as well as some wheel adapters that will allow for 16" wheels which would give it some additional lift. That should do the trick.

I do not want to sound like a smart a$$ here but I have been building Jeeps for several years now. I might not know much about boats but I do know Jeeps. I want to make sure that you realize that by going to 16" wheel it will not gain you any lift. You need to go to taller tire and keep the same wheels. I think with the 3" lift you can get a set of 31x10.50 tires under a liberty.

No offense taken, that's why I posted. I figured I could get some good input. I'm going to purchase the lift. My Dad will pick whatever new tires and rims he wants to. I'll let him know about the tires, he may like that idea. Thanks for the input.
