I Have An 02 38zx On An Alum Tri Axle Loadmstr Trailer. Boat Alone Is Almost 11k Dry. I Used A Dually Til This Year And Never Had A Problem. Technically, You Are Probably Pushing The Gvw Even With The Dually. I Have Pulled It Shorter Distances With My 2500 Hd With The Wd Hitch And It Pulled Great As Well But Brings Up The Safety And Insurance Issues.

You should be just fine with a dually. I have a single rear wheel 3500 Dodge that I pull mine with no probs at all. They are heavy, but with a good weight distributing setup they are just fine.
