Trying to figure what damn drive I have on my boat its suppose to have a XZ 2001 model, just got a call from a shop and they said its a Bravo not Bravo XZ,

Can anyone look this up and figure it out, I would really appreciate it?

I am sooo pissed I was told that this boat came with a XZ drive and its a Bravo 1, Remember I purchased it new from Fountain in 2000 its a 2001 model w/ 500efi. I thought all 500efi came with a XZ that year, CHIT I am Pissed.

Mercnet says Bravo 1.But honestly,I doubt you would see much durability difference. The XR of course is another matter. I don't think I would be too concerned about it.Any condition that would blow a 1 would probrably blow an XZ.

The reason I am so pissed is that I swear I remember paying for the upgrade, and yes I have had problems on and off for 3 years now. I called Merc and they said it came with a Bravo1, I am just pissed.

does it say "xz" on it?

Yup, the #'s you give says they are an "X" drive. I would definetely look at your bill of sale and boat order sheet.
