Anyone have one of these ? If so what do you think and what did it do for your boat ?

i have one on my scarab. It rides a little better, the stern seems higher in the water with it, and ran a little faster.

Hotboat has one on his 28 Scarab that works well for that boat. He added dual ram hydrolic steering which I think is a must for this kind of setup.

actualy hot boat has the other of mine. A guy had a pari for sale i bought one, he bought the other!

are these better than an extension box? interesting concept though.

They do work well, but do add some extra stress to the stock gimble housing because of leverage..

I was hoping to get bow lift, and help with my high X dim. I am installing it next week. I had trouble locating the extended shifter assembly, and the extended rams for the outdrive trim pumps. Got them I am ready to Rock & Roll I think, guy is tig welding the extended rams today for me. Lest see how the Land and Sea Jack works for me on a 32' V Hull.

I have it on my 272 Baja. It's supposed to be worth 3-5 mph. If you don't have the extended cable sit down when you order it. The f8ckers want over $175 just for the inner cable. The cables are bad about pulling the bead off the end where it goes in the outdrive. Definitely need hyd steering. I had to make my own end cap for the sterring.

Ouch, I called to inq they said they do not make the extended rams or extended shift assembly any longer, but sometimes do reorder in bulk but no plans to reorder they said. ( Becareful guys when ordering a used Land & Sea parts are expensive and hard to come by ))

I would think the stern jack will give you less bow lift since it actually RAISES the gearcase X dimension as you trim up.
