Ever since hurricane Rita, Lake Conroe has been down 4 to 5 feet for Damn repairs. They finished the Damn in April. The lake is still down and losing a million gallons a week in evaporation .....here are a few pics from my back yard

Just saw your second post, it's amazing the difference a few miles can make..........I learned that from hurricane Charley.

They are reporting that the Hobby Airport area got 6" in 75 minutes this morning

Also predicting up to 10" more in the next 24 hours.
