Has anyone ever used "Sea Foam"? I have an older Mustang that is a little tired. I was thinking of adding some upper cylinder lubricant (like Lucas), but a friend of mine says this "Sea Foam" stuff is great for any engine! I saw it on the shelf at the auto parts store, but I am reluctant to try it. I have used the Lucas stuff in another application and it worked wonders. I was even thinking of adding it to my '97 Powerstroke!

I've used the Sea Foam the last 3 years when winterizing my boat. I've never noticed an detereiration in the gas.

Use it every year winterizing the sleds, over 5 years without ANY problems. Good Stuff.

I've used it on just about all most toys at one point or another.....the stuff does work......smokes allot but it works. Follow the directions on it and don't add it too fast or you could hydro lock you engine......just fast enough to keep the engine running but about to stall out Vacuum hose from the brake booster is a good point of entry...

I use it in the boat, jet-skis and mower.
I haven't tried it in the truck yet. But I hear it works well.

I was also told to run it thru the boat engines once a year to keep everything clean and like new, since we don't have to winterize the boat anymore!

Sea Foam Works Great But The Key Is To Make Sure The Motor Is Good And Hot So It Will Get Rid Of All The Carbon Build Up

I have an old Honda 900 that was all gummed up and not even running. I drained the carbs and poured them full of Sea-Foam. I let them sit for 4 to 5 hours, drained them, filled up with fresh fuel, and the thing ran better than it ever had before. I'm a believer! Now it's in every small engine I own, from the John Deere tractor to the Husky chainsaw.
