That is definitely going to go for big money.

And it would bring even more if it ran across Barret-Jackson.

Mine: 65' L-76 (327/365) now a "full roller" and other mods motor with 4.11 posi in the rear.... WAY over 400 hp...but the total is top secret...

(obviously kept all the old parts so it can be put back for originality)

The reserve is prob min. 400k... gulp.. BJ record is 378k - just this spring for orig. 427/435. Wasn't that long ago when people thought 75k was over the top. Still think the small blocks handled better on road course but on straights those 427's were downright mean.

Its really amazing how so many of these got trashed... guy down road growing up ( late 60's) had at least a dozen 60's corvettes - most of them trashed already then. He had a 67 427 he purchased new. In 2nd yr he blew out the lower and replaced the 427 with a Pontiac 389 tri-power- I'm not kidding.. The headlights drove him nuts so he tore them out and put plexi over them. Cut the dash and Installed a b/w tv so at night it glowed. Cut the 427 hood scoop off and put a teardrop on it. And to top it off painted "Powered by Pontiac" on the front fender. And this was his daily driver!! Yes he is still living. Even at our age my buddies that hung around the guys shop thought the guy was whacked back then. Today we figure he easily trashed over a million worth of Corvettes.
