A friend of mine needs a new prop for his Liberator and the OMCs are tough to find used. I put his prop on my Bravo drive and the splines seem to be the same but the depth was different. Is there any kind of "kit" with thrust washer, spacers, etc (besides a flo-torq) that would allow him to run a Merc prop? I think his boat would run well with a Mirage and there a lot more out there used.

Contact your local Merc/Quicksilver dealer....the prop application catalogue should have appropriate spacer references for different brand applications.

Called a shop a few miles away, he said all he could find was a flo-torq hub kit for OMC. I guess I'll just keep looking for an OMC prop for him.

I'm on there everyday. Only thing that has popped up in the last few days were a couple Turbos but they were the smaller diameter(13.25") props. Merc props are always on there, that's why I was asking if they would work.

you use the omc flow torque hub kit in the merc props you would like so they will work on the omc. i do it all the time.
