Need Some Help Selecting The Right Prop For A 24 Superboat 1989. I Have A 300 Yamaha I Ve Raised The Transom 5 Inches To Accomadate The Longer Shaft. When Properly Trimed Iam Running 5200 Rpm. Anyone Out There With A Similiar Ride. Looking For Top End Performance.any Help Would Be Appreciated.

I have a 300 HPDI on a 24' CC - have 22 hrs on the engine/boat - engine began to stumble and would fall on it's face -

Turns out the vanes in the high pressure pump failed clogging and internal fuel screen - The cause was the fact that I did not pump up the rubber fuel ball before each cold start ???????........pisses me off hi - tech engine has to relay on low tech people to pump up a ball each day - Looks like everything is under warranty - boat weight is 4200 lbs with 21 prop I can get 54 mph

I believe the guys running 24' Supers with 300X Merc engines use 25p Tempest props.
