If it is the one with the fill in the steering bezel it is bled by rotating the wheel (ALOT) in ine direction then the other. They came with a translucent tube and funnel, you just kept turning the wheel in one direction and watching the fluid in the tube filling as the level drops. Depending on how far the ram or rams are from the helm it can take a little while. The helm does not hold a bunch of oil so having the sight tube is a real help, it would pay to try to make something up.

If it has the reservalve on it (reservoir with a gauge, sight glass, and pressure relief) there is a schrader valve there. You pump 30psi of air pressure in and then turn the wheel lots in both directions.
