In fact, the article was NOT very long at all. . . . couldn't have been more than 50 words. I guess that "long" depends upon your own individual perception of what "long" really means. For example: If you are accustomed to a 17ft boat, then a 42 Fountain may be considered "long" . . . on the other hand, if you are accustomed to a Cigarette 42 Tiger, the 42 Fountain might be considered a bit "short". . . . wait a minute . . . perception is an entirely different animal than comparison. Perception is subjective, while comparison is entirely objective.

You were being sarcastic. . . . damn.

Anyways. It WAS a weird day in the Channel.
Some big, fast moving, poorly-spaced swell sets. But NO wind, except in places. . . . confused in places. . . . limited visibility, especially in the afternoon.

Weird day in the Channel altogether.
