I heard that a cruiser burnt to the water line and that a dock burned in Duck Creek back behind Ugly's the other weekend. Does anyone know any details?

I saw what looked like a 30'+ cruiser ablaze just south of two-tree island, but no details of how it started.

I heard the same thing< I think the enclosed dock caught fire and the boat was inside

It did happen. Two different incidents. It was reported in the Vinita paper. It was a reported that a young person was working on a boat in the dock, the fumes in the bilge ingnited and then the dock burned.

Thanks for verifying the rumors I had heard. I would be curious to know how the cruiser fire started. I am guessing fireworks but I have no idea. Thanks again.

The dock that burnt down was a friend of mines. The only boats that were in there were a bass boat and a toy boat for their daughter. Not sure how the blaze started, I only have seen pics.
