Default Good High Speed Goggles

Our local Tennessee River Rally poker run is Saturday 7-22. I ran my boat today in poker run conditions (WFO) and even though I have a pair of excellent polarized prescription sunglasses, my eyes dried out and it became tough to see. My skin also flapped like a sheet on a cloths line. But at 58 there is no cure for that short of a face lift and there is no time.

Does anyone know of a good clear nonpolarized goggle that will fit over sunglasses that might help this situation? I'm not fond of helmets but it may have to happen. Thanks. Boat Safely. Quent

Wiley-X SG-1's. Polarized with arms or strap interchangable lens. I used them for 10 months in the desert they are awsome, and use them all the time boating.

I agree with buying motorcycle sunglasses. I have several pair (all with foam to keep the air out)... cost is about $15-20 each and work great.

I agree with the motorcycle shop. I bought some with a yellow tint to them and I swear it is almost like they are night vision lenses, I can see so much better just before it gets dark.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but I go to the local hardware store or builders supply and go tho the safety glasses display. There are some really nice wrap around, tight profile safety glasses that work great on a boat...most come in clear or tinted. Sorry- but it won't help with the floppy face but they should protect your eyes pretty well.

Thanks for the information guys. I went to the local ski shop, (as in snow ski. Its 95 here today). They had there $55 Oakley ski goggles at half price. The goggles fit perfectly over my polarized sun glasses and the lens has a yellow tint. I ran over 100 mph yesterday afternoon and the things work great. My face still flopped but the eye problem is solved.

I bought some windaways last month and attached to the top of my windshield frame. At 75 they have held up great and the customer service I recieved after a small problem was excellent. They did even more for me than I was hoping.
