I'm looking for more lift on a single 30' narrow beam. I've added a drive spacer and picked up a couple, but the boat still needs more. I can feel the boat slowed by being in the water at speed .

Can labbing a prop make a difference....a noticable one??

I've tried a 5 blade with poor results.

Stock Bravo 1 has performed the best so far.

Hey PE,

I have noticed a nice improvement since BBlades altered my Bravo 1 prop.
I'm not sure if the effects would be as great on your larger boat though.

OH-Zone is now running his Bravo 1 that BBlades labbed for him. He should be able to give you some decent data of before and after.

Are you going to be able to meet up with us this Friday? We are leaving Old Saybrook around 5:30pm and will be on you side of the Sound some time after 6pm...

See you soon,

Yes, you can induce more bow lift into any propeller as well as calming down the stern lift when necessary. The 5B props will induce stern lift regardless of blade design so I am not surprised at your results. I think you could increase the bow lift on your Bravo I propeller. This can also be performed on a Lab Finishied propeller, which of course is for speed gains.

We can do many things with the B1 propellers. If you would like to dicuss the options, please give us a call. We do this to Bravo 1 propellers very often.
