Anyone out there have a oil/power steering cooler for a 90 model 454 bravo? Motor was not properly winterized and it popped inside. Is the cooler setup really needed? I can understand the oil part, but why the power steering?
Any help would be great.

I Would Like To Know Also If You Can Remove The Oil Cooler. I Am Not Using A T Stat So Oil Really Never Gets Hot Anyway.

If you have a stock engine I have a used one from a stock 330HP 7.4L, works for the ps and oil. If your engine is modified I replaced mine with a EMI from TP marine. If you need it let me know.

Eddie Marine has aftermarket units. $$'s weren't bad either.

I have a combo engine/power steering cooler for a 454 mag with about 4 hours on it. Still have the original box. The cooler is like new. I'll sell it for 1/2 the price of new. If interested PM me.
