Chine Beams

Hi guys, I'm doing some research on transom beam at the chines for 24/26 very high perf boats (racing boats)
I need to know if 6'4" is in the ballpark or it's too narrow.

I have a boat that has a '7 beam. I think that's at the widest point too. I never measured but I'm pretty sure it's less than 7' at the transom.
