Since I used to book trades for C.L. in the Bahamas, converting dollars to swissys (not knowing who or what he was), I'll do the exciting bank trading floor money manager scenes ....Boss to trader "don't ask questions, just book the F'ing trades!" Busy bank trading floors around the world rocked by large dollar/swiss franc trades, Reuters screens showing big price moves when the trades go through. Excited traders yelling and slamming phones down. Happened for real guys!
We have fantastic knowledge, toys, and good looking girlfriends/wives to make a terrific movie about the old days, or based on our "knowledge" of the old days. I also starred and helped set up a film about a trading floor that was nominated for an Emmy award, so I am a film expert.
It could be 100% better than the Vice movie. Rouxsterre has already written parts of the screen play on the thread "Alternative to MV" . I think a movie mainly about jacking cool boats, airplanes and cars for product transport purposes, lots of chases, some cool bigwig money mangement stuff, would be great. R can work his screen play into that.
I liked R's screen play idea. Think of the "Blair Witch Project" made for $200,000 and "Clerks" made for about the same amount. They made millions in actual release.
The lame "female money manager scenes" in MV were as boring and non relevant as the rest of the movie. You would have to be a real F........P to run "that kind of money" through Geneva these days.

A short promo film about CUNY and the trading floor I managed for the largest business school in the U.S.
It was nominated for a NY Emmy award, but lost to a Hilliary Clinton film about "Project Democracy". NO comment.
They played that film I "starred in" dozens of times on PBS, so anyone who lives in NY likely has seen my ugly mug on TV more than a few times.
Oh, if you have seen the classic NOT movie "Beer" with Lorretta Swit in it, you likely have seen my wife on film also. We is movie stars! <gg>
Cheers,
Chris

Accountants might be able to set up a tax shelter for those who contribute money to this great idea......
