I think they had an offshore race maybe 2 or 3 times out of Boston Harbor Marina(now marina bay) in the mid 80's. I was like 12 or something..ever since i went to watch the pits and part of the race i was hooked. Anybody have any photos? or did anybody race?

Tooslow: I was also about 12 and can remember sitting in the old "tent" while they were putting boats in at the travel lift. Too bad they don't still race out of there. Where are you located? Do you have a boat?

Marina Bay 100, June 30, 1984, fogged out, as thick as could be, then we went back on July 21, and raced, great day, long rollers,,, next year, back to Boston, June 29 1985. then 1986, July 21, back to Boston again.

Yes i remember the fog, Philip what boat did you have ? I only remember "Barrys moova" i think? and Top cat. Matt im from weymouth, had a 24 Banana with 2.4's..sold it. Looking at a 24 ft scorpion with a 454. I saw your boat for sale, seen it many times down the marina..nice ride.

Tooslow: you may have mine confused with another, I have not had it at any marina? I looked at a 24' Scorpion a year and a half or so ago out in Missouri, nice boats.

Its been a long time since we've seen a race out of Boston north. Had a couple in Newburyport but its been over ten years + anyways

Boston, Gloucester, MA, Newburry Port, Lake Winni, The cape recently and this year Fall River.
