Had an 86' Scarab Panther, bought it for $16K. Refurbished the boat with new interior, rub-rail, painted the deck etc in a 2 yr period and sold it for $26K after owning the boat for 5 yrs. That was an extremely affordable boat!

That's a good question that has alot of correct answer, over the years of working on boats I've found alot of different details that I like in most of them. For that size boat I'd say the Powerquest has the most room for the size, good size cockpit and huge cabin..

This Powerquest is a customers of mine and can personally vouch that this boat is absolutely perfect, and maintained meticulously.

I would say a 27 magnum!! probably one of the best riding boats in that size range, and affordable. cabin is tight on the head room but roomy elsewise (for sleeping that is), if you're doing an over nighter not a big deal. You'll never turn more heads for 25K. If you're looking to spend a little more $$ I would agree on the 30 Formula.
