Im looking for a reasonable 260 Chris Craft Stinger. Im from the northeast Ohio area. I dont mind something that needs a little work, but do not want a project boat. I have already looked at a few of those. If you have something for sale, please contact me at 330-242-5229 or email me pics and info to [email protected] thanks Dan

I go to church right around the corner from that boat. Ive seen it there for years and he has had the for sale sign on it almost every year that I can remember. The price was quite a bit steep. $28K. I have found nice 312 31'ers for around 20K. Most 260 stingers I have seen have been listed for $6-15K depending on condition. I saw another one on ebay for $28K too. I appreciate the quick reply!

check again your e-mail. I sent it again. I've had this boat for 5 years. What I appreciated the most were the following...
Restored boat...almost new but soooo cheap to insure. also, compare this to a 25 outlaw or any 25-26 footer, this one has A LOT more cabin room, and is WAY more stable in bigger waves... 2 small blocks = 60 mp/h.cruises at 30 mp/h at 2600 rpm, average probably around 25$ / hour in US $. (33$in cdn $). + 2 engines means in my opinion safety and reliability. if one dies, you always have another to bring you back home... I have a Formula 35-7 and miss my Stinger 260...

amen to all of that. i had my 260 listed at 15K this last winter and ended up trading it in on a 34 Scarab. that Chris Craft was the best boat i ever had. very big for a 26 footer in fact i think it was about 29 feet when my marina measured it for my dock. tons of cabin room and cockpit room and engine compartment room, you almost never get all three. good performance and handled rough water very well. mine would cruise at 50 all day long at 4000rpm, sucked alot of gas though at that rpm but it was fun. great great boat and i cant say enough about 'em
heres a link to an info page on my baby, check out the vid clips at the bottom of the page . . . i sure mis that boat. it ended up back in my marina and the new owner let me have it for a day while my Scarab was out getting a coupler.
