Default Fram - Oil Pressure

I've seen all the Fram filter posts but did not expect these results. Only change made was from runing a Fram PH5 to a Fram HP5. Cruising oil pressure changed from 35 lbs to 52 lbs.
Hot idle pressure from 20 lbs to 40 lbs.

Pretty dramatic change there.

I've never personally used Fram Filters as I prefer Baldwin or K&N or Wix. But I too have read all the nightmare stories on this forum and elsewhere regarding Fram. What I struggle with is how Fram continues to sell these filters, and big numbers of them "if" these problems are common, which I think they must be by the number of problems I've read about.

OK I Think I'm right but someone chime in If I'm not

The HP5 is a racing filter where you give up some filtration for more oil flow which may help your Oil Pressure with less restriction. I'm using the Fram HP1 for now but going to NAPA / WIX racing filters.
