BTW, heard the Nautie got bought and new owners are promising vastly improved mooring facilities. No details but they need something.

I was at a local boat show a few weeks ago and reps from Nautical were there selling deals on packages. The rep said the indeed did get bought out and are going to dump a sh!t load of cash into it. (thank god, it's delapedated). In the plan they are also going to build a whole new wing of rooms and new condos/time shares. We'll see how it goes. Unfortunately this will indeed raise the already over the top rates they charge.

Have fun out there and bring lots of water (or beer ) to hydrate. It's hot as hell out there in Aug!

I am going there with my wife this weekend.Acually staying at the Nautical. I bought a time share there in May (Memorial day). They are supposed to build new launch ramp,extend the beach , new sand ,Boat storage and more.We'll see. Michael Garibay

The channel needs dredging too, it's in very poor condition at the South end on the West side.

My house is for rent next weekend.....Ken (MetalBrosRacing) can tell you it's nice and located on a great neighborhood. It is fully furnished.

Yup and it also has great views of the lake. gerard I forgot to tell you we saw a FULL ON meteor on Sun night, the thing came screamin in from the SE and went across the entire sky before fragging into green and blue particles. It was sick as hell.
