In regard to the recent column which mentioned the boating accident you
are
referring to I have done some further research and it does appear that
the
information I read was concerning an accident on a Georgia lake as
opposed to
one of our Alabama lakes. I was under the assumption it was an Alabama
lake
but have since learned otherwise. However, hopefully this type of
horrendous
accident will not occur in Alabama.

So did I. Interesting that no other details are listed. My brother lives in Atlanta,he knows nothing about such an accident.

Well, I just scoured OSO, www.lawboat.com, google news, georgia newspapers and tv sites, and I can't find anything of the sort.

The only lakes in Georgia that are likely to have a 39' PB are Lanier and Allatoona, both near Atlanta.

If this was a real case it would be all over the AJC !!!
