Lately I've been seeing some really nice V's and Cats on the lake. Just curious is any of these boats are OSO members. The last week/weekend I've been driving around in a 21 Checkmate Red/White since I'm still building engine for the 31'. Just figured I'd check.
P/S I work part time @ Hockenjos if parts are even needed.

I grew up in dover and my dad had his first boat on that lake. I learned how to waterski there. Yes I went on the amusment rides on bertrams island. this was the mid to late sixties. can you even put a large go fast boat on the lake?

When I boated there with a 18fter 150 merc the marine police were a pain in the ass then. To bad that Jersey lakes are to small , dirty, congested, and You can smell Greenwood lake long before you can see it.

You can put a large go-fast on the lake. There's a couple 35+ ft cats on here. As far as I know the only good ramp is flash marina on the north side of the lake. The lake is small for them but you can still have fun. As for Bertrams Island, thats before my time. All there is now is Condos.

Thinking back my first boat was a 16' Linemin. Wooden lapstreak hull 40hp erenrude. It looked like a beautiful piece of furniture with its warnished interior. At 14 I though it was the greatest. My aunt had a hosue on prospect point. Not far from Sam Sutphin's marina.
