On Sept 23 the Long Branch Ice Boat Club is sponsoring Thunder on the River, a rally of Jersey Speed Skiffs. I heard that there are 35 Skiffs that will be showing up for the event. Everyone is invited to stop by and check out all the action.
They were also wondering if all the guys that have the mini-offshore boats would want to run that day. The club has a ramp.

Gotta talk to my friend Gary, to see if he'll be bringing out the General G.... Last time i saw him, he was giving rides at the pits for the Pt. Pleasant Beach race that was called due to the fog.

I'll be moving to Florida in Nov, so the next couple of months will be pretty busy, but I'll mark this on my calender and hope for the best.......

Nope NOT Red Bank. They are running in the Shrewsbury leaving from the club in North Long Branch. This is not a race, this is a "rally" or "fun run". Their hope to is eventually bring skiff racing back to the area.

I went down to Parkertown yesterday to watch OSO member "Haulin Trash" make his skiff debut with the Outlaws..

He did really well....Congrats again, Mike...
