Default maximus vs herring vs bravo

i started a thread in the cigarette section entitled "new prop for gladiator". Got a lot of feedback as i am looking for a new set of props on my cigarette gladiator staggered 525's with sportmasters. Right now i am running 34p labbed bravos. some guys recommend the new maximus with some adjustments to it (who can make the adjustments?), others the herring 6 bladed 30p. Just wondering if anyone has anything else to offer.

save the $$ on fuel, you have the best all around prop.

I have a prop that may be an option for you.

What is the WOT rpm and speed? What is the drive gear ratio and year of the hull?

What complaints do you have with the current props?

Matt

turns 5200, top speed is 91-92. I think i am running 1.5 gear ratio, its a 2003 gladiator with stagered sportmasters.

Sucks a lot of air coming on plane, have to be carefull powering up even with tabs all the way down, decent amount of vibration 3000-3500

I know the earlier Gladiators had a higher X dimension but you're set-up looks dead on. Are you looking for more top end or better midrange?

It's not uncommon for your model/year to have a drive that's a little on the high side. You slip is on the high side and it may be possible to address it with prop. Hopefully get a little more top end as well.

I haven't really seen the Maximus perform outstanding on your model boat. They tend to prefer a little less bow lift. There are other options, if you have an opportunity give us a call and I can tell you about them.

What part of the country do you live in?

is it possible to get both? if not, i'd like to keep top end the same and get better midrange.
