Anyone been on one? They are ugly boats but very versatile.

I like em!! I think they are beautiful boats. They are totally different than the sprot boats but nevertheless beautiful. They are HUGE as well and real wave crushers so I hear.

After getting wet today, I have been thinking a boat that has shade might be next! Love the forward seating/ cuddy and they hit low 60's but nothing special to look at.

BTW, nice EX you got Jack......

Contact Driven1 on this forum, He owned one. From what my dealer tells me they ride nice but the 38TE is much better in the rough. The 38LX is a little nose heavy.

I had a 2005 with 225 optis on it for 2 years. Very good family boat with all the shade coverage. Good party boat also. I used to take out 14-16 people on that boat and still cruise at 55 mph. I got rid of it because it would only do 59 on GPS.( traded it in for a 47 Lightning that does 90 mph) If I got one now I would get it with triple 300 Optis. The boat is bow heavy for sure. When I sold it we had to sling it out on to the trailer and the sling operator confirmed what I had thought . I thought they were nice loooking boats for what they are. Used to get allot of compiments on it. If you want a used one a buddy mine has a 2005 for sale here in St. Pete. I traded mine in to Shogrens and was told it just sold and it is coming back down to Florida.

Great boat. Most "fish" guys think the boat is the best looking model in the "express style". I have sold many (6 or 8) and every customer really liked the boat. I am delivering a new one in Palm Beach in about 2 weeks.

Jupiter if you do not need all the family stuff, TV, Refrig and so on I am selling my 2006 38TE with triple 275 Verados. It will be at this weekends OPBA Poker Run. It's all white and I am easy to find...just look for the real tall guy with a silver and blue prosthetic leg!

Bill are you doing Long Labor Day PR this weekend?

Mike,

Will see you over there late Friday, the hurricane was a total bust on this coast. Very light rain at best, went to Walmart and bought a dozen kites for the kids on the block. Had 6 up at a time, my kids thought it was awesome. Of the 12 kites only 2 are still alive. Trees ate them up!

Really want the next boat to have more shade. A TE/ CC is better but not like an LX. I bought a 15 Whaler recently and my kids like that better due to the shade/ quiet 4 stroke and the fact they can drive it!
