What props for my 47 lightning?
#1
I just chewed up all 3 props on my boat and need to buy some new props on Monday
. I had 32p Bravos on my 2005 Fountain 47 Lightning with 525s. I want to try some lab finished Maximus props. Any thoughts out there? Thanks Mike

Thanks for the info and thanks for the props. I will put something extra in mail with the check. Have you been to the Bonefish Grill up near you yet?

Mike, get one of those rubber rafts like a zodiak of something similar, and you can float right next to the props while it's on the lift. Do one at a time incase the raft moves, you don't want to drop anything into the water.

Mike 10X rubber raft idea is a good one. I have been thinking of getting one of those 10 foot RIB boats at West marine to cruise to the island and around the canals plus be able to check the drain plugs and props and wash the back of the boat. My neighbor has one and loves it.
I could put you on the front of my boat an and you could change your props out there. I do not know of one single marina that can lift out a 47 foot boat other than a yeard that has straps and that is a huge ordeal.
