Default What should I excpect?

Thinking about moving to a 30' with twin 300's or a 35 with 525's. I now have a 358 Sonic 2001 that run's almost 80. What would be the pro's and con's of making the change.

Looking for info on overall ride and water conditions in the 2-4 footer range.

The 35-36 cat would be a much better choice than the 30 in 2-4 seas.Cats love 2-3 foot chop they ride right on top of them. They do not like big swells. If you like going fast the cat is the only way to go,very stable at high speeds. If you like just cruising 45-55 most of the time the deep v ride better, most cats start packing air at around 70-80 this is where the ride gets smooth. You need to go for a ride in one and see if you like it. Another choice of hulls in that price range would be 36 spectre, I have one in stock and could arrange a test ride if interested.
