Default Shipping help needed

First, Several members offered to pick this item up and bring it to a shipper for me. THANK YOU!!! I got the seller to box it and get it ready for shipping but I need to make arrangements.
I purchased a truck mounted bike lift in California. I talked the seller into packaging it for shipping. The item is only 150 lbs but the dimensions are 102" x 42" x 18". I can't find anyone to ship it. DHL, Fedex abd UPS all say it's too big. Fedex freight wants $1800 ! Can anyone steer me in the right direction for shipping this? Thank you!

or any other motorcycle shipping company. They should be able to help you out.

I would say check with some of the local Trucking Co's in your area and see if they have any Calf. Trucks with any room on them,, espically flat beds unless your lift can't be in the weather.
Your probably looking at a 5 to 7 day del. using an LTL company.

Scott's idea is the best one, use a friend that has a really good discount (55 to 60%) with an LTL like Roadway, Yellow, CCX and ship it on their account. The class of freight, (the lower number the better) will play a big part in the cost as well. Make sure you have it picked up and delivered to a business address that will also factor into the cost.

I just ran the the numbers through the web site of the logistics company that we use and the best price was Yellow Freight at $140.00. That is based on shipping from Orange County to Ft Lauderdale at class 85; 150 Lbs, 5 day transit.

If I owned the company I would let you run it through us, but I don't. I just wanted to give you an idea of what it could be if you were able to use a friend with a good discount.

Lube, call Joker from OSO (Brian Hollis) he has a trucking company in GA. He also does freight brokering and can probably hook you up.
