Hello Fellow Offshore Boat People!
I have been an admirer of Offshore boats since I was able to open my eyes and realized what I saw. Always had a facination with them, especially the ones with big blocks!
The last time I road in a Offshore Boat, was in 1986, in a 31 ft CC Stinger with twin Mercs. I was 10 years old, and I never forgot it.
Then one time, I was riding a bike when I was 13, over the Manatee Ave Draw Bridge, a 35 plus foot offshore boat went under the span, and I really went blank and stopped and stared at the boat and listened to it for as long as I could (before the brige tender told me to move on!)
Well fast forward to 2006, Eventually I want to buy a boat, Perhaps a Fountain 29' Fever, but I am a bit away from that. So I bought a corvette instead
However, I had a brain storm Idea.
Is it possible, to get a ride on a safe offshore boat, any brand is fine. 29 to 45 feet?
I will be purchasing a boat no shorter than 29' but realistically no longer than 38' because I have to store it and launch it.
I am well behaved and I be quite. I would just like a pleasant ride for anywhere from 20 minutes to 1 hour (it would be shorter than 20 minutes if it weren't for no wake area!)
I would be more than happy to pitch in the $$ for whatever. I just want a ride only! I want to hear those big blocks drone at idle all the way to 6000 RPMs.
I can travel to sarasota and meet up.
I would be seriously grateful for this option.

Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you!

Hi Ryan:
Thanks for the advice! I know where they gathering of the eagles are! Sweet!
Hey Outboards are a pretty sweet deal too. They have a unique sound of their own!
Are you gonna race for the Poker Run?

Hi Jeff:
Wow! a 43' Nortec with Diesels. One heck of a combo. I was astonished on seeing/hearing a 42' Fountain with Diesels. Boy, did that thing plane QUICK! And you are so right, they sound awesome too!
Thanks for the offer of the Maiden Voyage Trip. How about this, I will take you up on the offer when the sea trials are complete.
Where ya at? Please keep me posted on how she handles and your impression!
Thanks Jeff!
