So we make a lst minute decision to duck the mist at Beaver lake and head to Grand- sure was quiet- did not see a familiar boat/face on the lake
BTW- some time back, someone had suggest Honey creek State park boat ramp....... wow.
We managed ok cause we had under 30' boats but at the time I asked I was looking for bigger easier places to launch my buddy's 42' Tiger with a 270" wb toterhome.
So..... where to go to launch the bigger stuff? preferably on the south or east side?

Sorry we missed you! We were out in Dripping Springs on Sunday with OU Want Some, Rare Breed, Eyezlee, Carter, and a few new Cigarettes.
I'm not sure where a good ramp would be on the East side of the lake. There are some good ones down by Duck Creek on the South West side.

If I was launching anything over 30' i'd use the disney area to launch.. the state park between the spillways is PLENTY wide, thats where a lot of the bigger semi-towed houseboats and stuff are launched. its really wide and grated so good traction but a good stiff north wind makes it tough to load there..
i got some good pics of OU and you guys idling through dripping..ill see if i can get em up later today..

. I should have her in the water until October or so. We'll have the lake to ourselves.
