I'm a boater!!!

Ok, I just picked up our 24' Superboat on Saturday morning around 4 am. The boat came from NY and we came from Tulsa and met the seller at a hotel in Cincinatti. We looked it over and everything was great.
We got about 5 hours sleep and headed to LOTO as a stop on the way home. Got there just in time to launch her and get her in the slip.
Sunday - WOW!!!! This little rocket is an absolut blast! Of course LOTO on Labor day weekend is crazy rough. After a couple of hours behind the wheel though, I was learning what she liked and didn't like to do in the rough. I got to the point where we could cruise along a 35-40 mph and do so farily comfortably in the rough. I did have to throttle back for the cruiser induced rogue waves though.
On monday, we got away from the main area for a while and I was able to open her up a couple of times. Let me just say that when buying her, knowing she had a 454 mag mpi, I was sure I was going to be doing heads and cam this winter. Now, I'm quite sure that isn't going to be necessary for a while!
Lastly, after driving this weekend, I don't see how ANYONE could consider drinking and driving a boat on this lake. It took every bit of attention I had to run up and down the lake. I'm sore today from the work of driving in the slop!
Here's a few pics. One is the hotel we picked her up at and the other 2 are docked at LOTO.

Congrats! You are correct that LOTO requires your full, sober attention. There are times when the water seems to just fall out from under you when the right combination of cruiser wakes intersect.

Thanks guys!
I had her up to 70 on the speedo which was probably around 67ish? I still had a little throttle to go as well. Thsi is just where my wife, who is new to boating, reached over and gave me the "I'm a little scared now" tug on my shirt sleeve!
I've gotta be good to her! If I start to scare her, she'll never go again!
