Does anyone know how the drive connects to the engine thru the 7" box? Is it like IMCO with a long shaft off the drive to the coupler? Or is like a Stellings box with a universal joint-drive shaft arrangement?

We just finished 2 of them this weekend and it has the long shaft. It's a little different because of that, the alignment shaft has to be changed a little. Other than that, the installation is a breeze. Best of luck to you.
