I've got a Supercharged 509 making 750 hp with a stock crankshaft. I just wiped a main bearing, just wondering if I'm flexing the crank.

I personally know of several running around with 825-900hp with no problems to date, but they won't live forever.

Did You Upgrade The Oil Pump And Cooler That Could Be The Problem.

Hp 500 cooler never gets over 190 deg., oil pump is a hi volume m77 with -10 lines.

That crank is one of Chevy's best forged cranks. It can handle way more than the HP you are making with no problem.

Have You Cut Open The Filter To See If You Have Any Shavings In It.

What RPM are you turning? Maybe it needs balanced.

None...I have been around WWII aircraft for several yrs and have always liked the Bearcats. Always root for Rare Bear at Reno...I like the "round engine" planes.....
