tyler crockett's 496 engine upgrades ?

was wondering if anyone has done tyler crockett's 496 engine upgrade that makes 525-530 hp from a 496 ho ? his kit consists of , heads, cam and new computer (mefi 4) and wire harness for like $4k?

no but once I asked him to send me a quote to upgrade my engine and he never did... Maybe too busy.

Tyler is a stand up guy and very good motor man. I would not hesitate to use him.

Tyler has built several motors for me. He stands behind his work. He is the only one who touches my motors.

Remember, that is using ported stock heads and taking yours in exchange. Still a good package. I've done business with Tyler for years. I wouldn't hesitate to use his stuff and I'm sure it performs as he claims. If you have an HO now you could even recover some of the money by selling the PCM and cam to someone with a standard Mag. The only down side is you will lose any Smartcraft functions you currently have. The MEFI 4 is not as sophisticated as the PCM555(for better or worse).
