I can't think of a whole lot to do in Sunnyvale. It is basically a bedroom community. You can always go up to SF, which is about 30 miles north, or down to San Jose about 10 miles south (less to do).

What? My brother lives in San Jose which is just up the street. You can go to San Fran. or Sasalito. Go up to NAPA take the wine train or tour. Go to Calistoga and go up in a glider. Drive up to Carmel and check out the shops...

Go eat at La Fondue. Go to Mandrin Gourmet which is in Sunnyvale. You will never eat better Chinese. Get the lettuce cups and walnuts and prawns.

Lots to do!

The Brass Rail is in Sunnyvale. Great tt bar and the prime rib's not bad either!

Best to head north to the City or over to Tiburon and you can hang out at Sams. We'll be their on Sat.

Not a lot in Sunnyvale or San Jose - Head out towards the coast - take a drive up (San Fran) and down (Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, Big Sur) on Hiway 1 - if you have never been, its a great drive. Lots of places to stop and take in the sights. I used to do a lot of biz in silicon valley - still have family in the Monterey area.

ANY PLACE TO RENT A GO FAST ON THE BAY?
I AM THINKING WE WILL MAKE THE TRIP AROUND XMAS. THE ONLY THING THAT I HAVE TO DO IS TOUR THE SYLVAN PLANT SINCE THEY ARE WHO GAVE THE TRIP TO ME. I JUST MAY HAVE TO GET LOST ON THE WAY THERE

Not a chance, nobody rents things like that here. North Bay and Delta are filled with them though. Not much going on that time of year except for alot of re-rigging.
