Ray Charles now a PAC 10 offical

The PAC 10 has announced they will continue to employ blind people to review replays at all of its football games. Future officals will be Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller. The reason for using blind replay officals is so the PAC 10 can ba assured of wins of more than 1 point.

All of it was obvious. The Sports press is treating this as 'too bad OU' as usual. I can't believe Stoops is still a fan of the replay/review rule. He has been hosed almost everytime it has been used?

It's typical college football unfortunately. Both the National Champ and the Heisman winner are picked before the season even begins. All they have to do is "get there" and the politics will take care of the rest. They don't want some other program getting in the way of their predetermined conclusion.
I used to say the NFL had college football beaten in some respects due to the generally unbiased officiating, but then I saw the Steelers "win" the Superbowl.

NORMAN, Okla. — The Pacific-10 Conference, finding merit in Oklahoma's complaints about the officiating in its loss to Oregon, issued a one-game suspension Monday to the officiating crew and the instant replay officials who worked the game and an apology to the Sooners.
The Ducks won the game 34-33 after scoring two touchdowns in the final 72 seconds.
"Errors clearly were made and not corrected, and for that we apologize to the University of Oklahoma, coach Bob Stoops and his players," Pac-10 Commissioner Tom Hansen said in a statement. "They played an outstanding college football game, as did Oregon, and it is regrettable that the outcome of the contest was affected by the officiating."
After the Sooners' practice Monday night, Stoops said the apology brought him no satisfaction.
"At least they have reacted to it and tried. Truly there can be no amends to it and it can't be corrected," Stoops said.
It is called taking one for the team. Bas Turds.
