I havent' ridden in a 40 yet but I've been in some 46's in big Atlantic water and big Lake Michigan water. The ride is what you'd expect from a 46 foot boat. They span the waves well and maintain great speeds with proper trim and throttle. I assume the 40 has an excellent ride as well. Tough to go wrong with either.

It will ride and handle better than any v at the same speeds.

"Get on top and Rock".

Only one thing better than a 40 Skater and that is a 46.
