My 2002 29' with 575sci runs low 80's, and I have wrecked two Bravo XR's with only 220 hours. I would say the 600 will get you to 85 mph plus, but here is the crux. You are pushing a 5700 lb boat dry, with a single prop, over 30 inches, and there is a lot of stress on the outdrive. From my experience, I would be scared of mashing gears in the XR.

I called the dealer on the boat. He said it tops out at 82-84 (yeah that correct??? same as the 575) but the acceleration is mind blowing. So was the sticker.....MSRP OVER 190K
