$15,000 given to Childrens Memorial Hospital
Friends,
The Chicago Powerboat Club board members would like to sincerely thank all of you that either attended or sponsored our 2006 Chicago Poker Run in July. As a result of your commitment, we are happy to report that The Chicago Powerboat Club provided the Childrens Memorial Hospital in Chicago a check for $15,000 today as a result of that event. They greatly appreciated the amount and will put it to use right away. As we look forward to next years event, the 2007 Chicago Poker Run that will take place in July, we hope that you all will be able to attend so that we can continue to provide the Childrens Memorial Hospital a bigger and bigger check every year. As a registered 501C non-profit organization, The Chicago Powerboat Club provides every extra dollar directly to the hospital from this event.
Thank you again for your attendance, sponsorship, and support, and we look forward to seeing you all for the 2007 event.

Congratulations you guys, I know how hard Dan (Candyman) Mark Smith (ChiTown) Frank (10X), Steve (Donzi38) and all the members of the club worked to make that happen. I also rember that Scott Shogruen won the first prize poker hand and donated half the money to the hosptial and the other half to the club, how generous. Just the second year and already able to donate $15,000.00 very impressive
